OUR MENTOR
Our mentor, Prof. Dr. Subhash Y. Pawar, is a veteran academician, artist, and author with over six decades of experience. An Applied Art graduate with DBM, MCM, and Ph.D. degrees, he has served from Lecturer to Emeritus Professor and contributed as a Board of Studies Member, Doctoral Guide, and University Expert. Dr. Pawar has studied Yantra and Tantra for 40 years and creates contemporary Yantra forms that bring positive, soothing effects. A prolific writer, he has authored 125+ books in English and Marathi. His English novel Whispers of Destiny (2024) won Best Fiction Writer of the Year and is translated into four languages. His Marathi book Kimaya Photoshopchi won the State Literary Award (2010), and he received the Kari Award 2021 from MIT ADT University. Founder of Pace Pune (P) Ltd. and Art2Day Gallery, he also contributed nationally as Coordinator for C-DAC to promote computer education in regional languages. Now retired from academics, he continues writing and creating digital Yantra art, including his latest fantasy novel, Anjali’s First Magical Adventure, the first in a new trilogy.
